General manager of the Denver Broncos, John Elway, has been fighting Internet stories about how the team is pursuing another quarterback for their team.
The stories assure tat the team is chasing after Bengals quarterback A.J. McCarron, but Elway made sure that everyone hears him out on Twitter. However, the liberals were quick ton judge the tweet due to content resemblance with Donald Trump’s tweets. Take a look:
Rumor of us being interested in anyone other than the QBs we have is another example of irresponsible, fake news!!

And here is what the responses to this were:
You wanna know how to lose me as a lifelong Bronco fan and season ticket holder? Start mixing politics with sports and I'm out Mr. Elway.

The term fake news is becoming more common nowadays, but it seems that everyone is picking up on the actual nature of media outlets.
Elway’ efforts to prove to America that the only quarterbacks they consider their own are Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch, were welcome with hostility by the left-oriented media.
Twitter also went crazy about the ‘remark’ and interesting choice of words, bashing Elway like there’s no tomorrow.
Some users even dared to ask whether he was a“Trumptard.”
To make sure that everyone learns how things are, a report headline that read “Elway, a Republican, attended Trump’s inauguration ceremony in January,” tried to purposely undermine the former quarterback.
Here is how Twitter replied to his post:
Really, John? You look like a damn fool using Trump rhetoric. Be a leader.

Oh, come on, sir. Not you, too. Just say the reports are wrong or inaccurate. "Fake news" is so cheap.

Did you just go full Trump? I'll drop this franchise after 34 years if you start mixing politics in with football. Dems are fans too.

Many athletes have taken a stand against Trump, so it must be infuriating for liberals to learn that someone might actually agree with him. A recent story from Politico asked, “Did Too Much Caitlyn Jenner Doom ESPN?”
Kelly McBride is cited in the story, saying, “Some of ESPN’s recent programming could be viewed as appealing more to conservatives. That includes exhaustive coverage of Tim Tebow, an evangelical Christian, and then hiring him as an analyst.”
And, truth be told, they are right.
